A studio built for critical listening and translation

Great decisions come from an honest listening environment. When a room is treated properly, you stop compensating for the space and start hearing what’s actually in the mix. That means clearer choices on low end, vocal placement, dynamics, and depth, and fewer surprises when the track leaves the studio. The aim is simple, deliver mixes and masters that translate across real world playback and still feel like the record you meant to make.

This space is purpose built for mixing and mastering, carefully treated with acoustic absorption and diffusion tuned for accuracy and consistency, providing an outstanding listening environment that’s transparent, open and true.

My monitoring path includes mastering grade AD/DA conversion, boutique mastering processors, and full range speakers chosen for accuracy. My main monitors are Barefoot MicroMain 27s, selected for their transparency and reliable translation across listening systems. They measure evenly from 30 Hz to 45 kHz (±3 dB), so I can judge controlled sub bass, the vocal range, and a clean top end, at both low and high playback levels.

Why it matters

  • Translation you can trust across systems

  • Faster approvals with fewer revision loops

  • Better low end, depth, and vocal clarity
